TabTrade - What Traders Should Know

TabTrade - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, that range is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. But inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
